At 7:40 am a van from a contractor pulled into Pearl St. from 11th. St. As he pulled in he was initially blocked, and a union protestor assaulted the driver through the open window then grabbed the steering wheel as he was driving, almost hitting a church. The driver then maced the assailant. Initially the contractor driving the van was arrested by police, however he was released the same day after providing video evidence of the one sided assault.
